The Rev. Melesa McEwan Skoglund
Rector

Melesa+ was raised in Colorado, and later found a home in the Midwest. In college, she encountered the Episcopal Church for the first time and found rest in the liturgy, home in the tradition, and embrace in the community.

Prior to ordination, Melesa worked in Milwaukee’s nonprofit sector where she specialized in nonprofit operations, donor management, and program coordination/creation. She is married to Erik, a graphic designer, and together they have two sons. When she’s not chasing a toddler, Melesa enjoys gardening, walking the trails and the city, and exploring Wisconsin breweries with her spouce. Melesa was called to serve as the Rector of St. Thomas in January 2022.
