Feast Fest
Celebrating the Full 50 Days of Easter

We spend forty days preparing for Easter, and then celebrate Easter as if it’s a single day. But Easter isn’t just a day, it’s a season. It’s not only a celebration, but an invitation to joy.

This Eastertide at St. Thomas we are taking on an experiment:
Can we keep a 50 day Easter Feast?
Can we observe the full 50 days of Easter with the same focus in which we observe Lent?

What would it look like for us to spend 50 days lingering in the mystery and joy of the resurrection? Let's find out! Join us for 50 days of joy, blessing, service, and renewal as we try to keep the feast. Below you'll find a list of ideas for keeping the feast at home as well as Eastertide opportunities at St. Thomas of Canterbury.

Join us after the 10am service as Mary Schmitz leads us in painting rocks with signs of hope and joy. We’ll place them outside of the church for all to see, and then take them home at the end of Eastertide.

Garden Blessing
Sunday, May 4th following 10am service
On this Sunday, at the conclusion of the 10am service we will bless our community garden. You are invited to bring a plant, seeds, or garden tool as a symbol of your home garden as we bless them and give thanks for budding new life.

Blessing Bags
Sunday, May 11th following 10am service
After the 10am service we will gather to make blessing bags for individuals in need. Everyone will leave with 3-5 blessing bags to keep in their car to share with others in need.
