What is the Episcopal Church?

The Episcopal Church in the United States is one of the 28 independent, self-governing, national, and regional Churches which make up the Anglican Communion.

All Anglican Churches, throughout the world, are in continuity with the great tradition of Western Christianity, as it found embodiment in England.

As Anglican Christians, we understand ourselves to belong to the great reality of the Church as the Body of Christ in time and space for all generations. We cooperate with other Christian churches, as the opportunity arises.
Mission and Vision of St. Thomas
of Canterbury Episcopal Church

St. Thomas of Canterbury is a faith community in the Episcopal tradition which nurtures, supports, and empowers the disciples of Jesus Christ.

We welcome all people to Jesus Christ, forming disciples, equipping them for work in today's world, and sending them out to serve in Jesus' name
